Administration of restricted funds

One of the restricted funds
administered by Hermes is the Living
Forms Research Fund which supports
the research, instigated by Lawrence
Edwards, into relationships between
planetary phenomena and natural forms
such as those of leaf and flower buds.

Hermes operates about a dozen restricted funds for specific purposes which are in keeping with the Trust's own charitable objects. These are generally set up following an approach by an individual or group of people handling money for a specific project or particular type of charitable activity based on anthroposophy, but where the level of transaction throughput does not justify such things as own bank account, separate legal entity, paid administrator etc.
